Co-founder & CTO of Tropic Square
Jan is a leading specialist in chip design, architecture, and hardware security. He built the technology team at Tropic Square from scratch, which he now heads. Together they are developing the transparent and fully auditable TROPIC01 (TRuly OPen Integrated Circuit) chip with the goal of bringing it to market in 2025. In addition to building Tropic Square, Jan is involved in activities of the community around chip design, embedded firmware, and security.
