There’s no doubt big things are in store for Bitcoin in 2025!

There’s talk of extended bull runs, strategic national reserves, increased institutional adoption and all sorts of regulatory changes that will likely bring Bitcoin to the top of the list for any casual conversation around the water cooler at work.

But what does it all mean and how on earth do you keep up with it all?

Well, there are plenty of books, blogs and podcasts of course, but there’s nothing quite like ‘being in the room’ with likeminded colleagues, meeting the movers and shakers in the industry and enjoying the buzz of being part of the biggest financial revolution the world has ever seen.

We’re talking, of course, about attending a Bitcoin conference in person.

Bitcoin Conferences 2025

If you’ve been to one before, you’ll know the impact they can have in terms of learning and making new contacts and friends, but if you haven’t, you’re probably wondering what all the fuss is about. If so, this might help.

The great thing about a well-organised and Bitcoin only conference is that it really doesn’t matter what level of understanding you’re at. You will find others who have just started their journey, people who have been active in the industry since the beginning and – literally – every stage in between.

There are now several large Bitcoin conferences that regularly take place around the world and they vary in size and focus. The biggest Bitcoin conference in the world – known simply as Bitcoin 2025 – takes place in the US, this year in Las Vegas, attracting some 30,000 people over the three days that it runs. Smaller conferences are located in El Salvador, the UK, Argentina, Australia and the Netherlands, though some of these focus on various – often wider – aspects of Bitcoin and blockchain, such as mining and development.

Europe’s single biggest and most influential Bitcoin conference is Bitcoin Prague, known more simply as BTC Prague 2025, taking place (as its name indicates) in the beautiful capital city of the Czech Republic in June 2025. Whilst it’s a major conference with several thousand attendees, it has successfully maintained an intimate and friendly feel that’s perfect for people new to Bitcoin, but also attracts some of the very biggest names in the industry.

Past headline speakers have included industry heavyweights Michael Saylor, Parker Lewis, Jack Mallers and many, many others and this year’s impressive line-up is shortly to be announced. In total there will be over 200 speakers to choose from, all covering a wide range of Bitcoin related subjects that you can dip in and out of as you like.

Getting the most from your 2025 Bitcoin Conference

Managing which talk to attend with such a range may seem a daunting task at first, but this year it will be possible to download and install a couple of ground-breaking apps at the event that are designed to make your life easier.

You can, for example, select your schedule from the list, set reminders and help you find your way to each event, meet up with other Bitcoiners you want to speak to in person via a dedicated networking app and even have any talk translated – in real time – to almost any language via your phone.

Not only that, but BTC Prague hosts the biggest Bitcoin expo in Europe. Here, close to 100 cutting edge companies display their wares and services for all ticket holders to explore and chat directly with.

Finally, of course, BTC Prague is famous for its hospitality and unbeaten historical beauty. It’s no secret that many business deals and new friendships have been forged over a pint or two of local beer at one of the many after show parties!
